The McNair heavyweight finest grade virgin merino lambswool shirt.
Expect this to be the warmest, softest wool you have ever worn. Wear it instead of a jacket when you think you need a shell. Use it as a mid-layer on the very coldest days. Wear it out in a blizzard, and watch the snow shake off it, wear it down the pub or just to fall asleep in it on the sofa watching telly.
The luxurious heavyweight virgin merino wool is water resistant, wind resistant, doesn’t hold odour, is sustainably sourced, tougher than you’d think and very, very warm.
We’re very proud of the hidden baffle that sits beneath the buttons and cuffs for extra wind protection.

The shirt arrived yesterday. Thanks so much. It is absolutely amazing and worth the wait.

Just back from our family holiday skiing and snowboarding at Sundance in Utah. 5 ft of snow in 5 days. I was so happy with my new heavy weight long mountain shirt. It really worked well on the slopes or dressed up at night for dinner. I love it. My only comment around sizing is I am a size 2 or 4 but I ordered a 6 so I could layer. It is pretty snug around my upper back and shoulders even though I am small in the chest department.
I am hoping it will continue to mold and stretch a bit the more I wear it. Love it. Tempted to get another and go up 1 size.
