The new Travel Jacket is a product of firsts. It’s our first unisex jacket and our first in a new material for us: PlasmaDry Cavalry Twill. This fabric, with its signature double-twill lines, gives the jacket a bold, textured appearance, adding durability and style. Cavalry Twill is celebrated for its warmth and resilience, making it a favourite for classic outerwear. The jacket is treated with PlasmaDry adding extra water and stain resistance.
The Travel jacket has two oversized lower patch pockets with a classic flap and button closure, as well as an open patch pocket on the chest. Inside, there is an internal chest pocket and two large poacher’s pocket.
The jacket is available in Black, Darkest Navy, Old Gold and Dark Olive.

McNair Travel Jacket in PlasmaDry Cavalry Twill
The new Travel Jacket is a product of firsts. It’s our first unisex jacket and our first in a new material for us: PlasmaDry Cavalry Twill.
Cavalry twill is a tough, diagonally ribbed fabric originally crafted for the rigours of military life, especially for riding breeches and uniforms. Its signature double-twill lines give it a bold, textured appearance, adding durability and style. This fabric is celebrated for its warmth and resilience, making it a favourite for classic outerwear. We’ve also treated it with PlasmaDry, which adds water and stain resistance.
The jacket has a single patch chest pocket and an internal chest pocket. Two lower large hip pockets are secured with flaps, and there are two poacher’s pockets inside.
PlasmaDry™
PlasmaDry™ is a big story. It changes everything by bringing previously unseen levels of water and stain repellency without using the harmful fluorocarbons still heavily relied upon in the world of plastic jackets.
