Our new Moonraker Jacket is very deceptive. The appearance is not dissimilar to our original Mountain Shirt yet it has no less than 9 pockets. There are 2 large chest patch pockets which are cleverly positioned over 2 jetted pockets sitting discreetly inside the shirt: and they will carry absolutely any sized phone you throw at them. In addition, there’s an internal chest pocket, plus 2 handwarmer pockets and a further 2 large lower inside pockets, which are hidden. Made from the finest heavyweight virgin merino wool. Made to order.
Great news if you're ordering Charcoal or Black - both these colours are made from our Provenance Merino, which is fully-traceable from sheep to shirt.

The McNair Moonraker Jacket in finest heavyweight virgin merino wool.
The Moonrakers of Slawit had a notorious reputation for smuggling contraband through the Pennines via the canals. Our mill is right next to the canal where the Moonrakers got down to work. With the Moonrakers in mind, we developed this new jacket with no less than 9 pockets, which is quite unexpected from the clean exterior. The 2 chest pockets include a patch pocket like the Mountain Shirt, but there are also 2 jetted pockets that sit discreetly inside the shirt, and they will carry absolutely any sized phone. In addition, there’s an internal chest pocket, plus 2 handwarmer pockets and a further 2 large lower inside pockets, which are hidden. The handwarmer pockets are lined with the raised side of our unique fabric so they are sure to keep your hands warm. And as for the hidden hip pockets, they’ll take everything from a sandwich box, paperback, tablet, water bottle, dog toys, we could go on…
