If you’re not familiar with this Yorkshire institution, it was founded in 1939 to celebrate Yorkshire’s countryside. Over the years great writers such as J.B. Priestley and Alan Bennett have written for the magazine and it’s still England’s best selling regional magazine. Available widely across the North of England and selectively nationwide. This is a good old-fashioned competition complete with postcard entries.

To enter, you’ll need to get yourself a copy of the October issue of the Dalesman, on sale from Thursday 26th September.
