Made Beautifully Here is back. This celebration of making brings you a fantastic marketplace of beautiful things from some of the finest makers in the county and beyond. Food, drink and live music set in the stunning South Pennines.

There’ll also be live music and delicious food and drink from Rumpus, The Handmade Bakery, White Peak Distillery, Dark Woods Coffee, Dixon’s Milk Ices and Empire Brewery.
The event will be taking place alongside the Woven Festival organised by Kirklees and brings together the whole community to celebrate the region’s incredible textile industrial heritage as well as the vibrant local arts and crafts scene.

Travel and accommodation
If you are coming from further afield and would like to make a weekend of it, there’s the friendly Spinning Mill B&B in the village famed for its homemade cake. A stone’s throw away, there’s the Olive Branch with lovely pennine views. The Three Acres in Shelley is also a fantastic option and is just a few miles from Slaithwaite.
If you fancy leaving the car at home on the day, you can get the train to Slaithwaite and the station is just a couple of minutes walk away. There are regular connections to Manchester and Leeds. Parking will probably be quite tight around the mill so we would recommend trying the public car parks in the village.
